Do you know the difference between satisfaction and contentment?

What a weird title yes i know....

I really don't know what to blog about this time... i've just had a random collection of thoughts... i guess i should break down these seperately.... so here are my random thoughts.

-Discontentment with the current misguided rolemodels of relationship's and how it affects the ABC

-The comotose state of common sense and our judicial system

-The human thought processes and funcitonality during drunken stupor mode.

-Mind fuck games, what the hell is up with that?

First point, omg... whats up with our media nowadays... i mean its bad enough that we glorify role models such as paris hilton, and superfulous unrealistic rich kids in the OC, its hard for the ABC to live with such media confusion because as the ABC we do occasionally submit to our azn desires by watching idealistic korean or J dramas of conflicts, dilemmas, highs lows, but most of all the many different ways that 'true love' can exist. Soo what my point is, its tough for an ABC... for us to differentiate... theres the feeling that u want the idealistic true love, but at the same time, we are influenced by trashy media of the western culture... but the more abc we get, the more trashy our youth becomes.. its quite saddening.

Second rant... law sucks, why can't they introduce the 'no retarded common sense law' where commen sense overrides and court precedents and idiotic cases can be thrown out, like slipping on a bit of coke u spilt yourself while in a drunken stupor and wearing womens heels as a bet. Its soo simple!? but why isn't it in place?? the courts are mad....

As for the last point.... the thought processes of the brain while intoxicated is quite an interesting one.... one becomes more open, daring, doing things that they wouldn't do, even become more vulgar... tho more charming too :)

Funny though, at metros and a couple of what i call 'talking cock' nights i discovered theres other effects of alcohol... one self confession was that the person in question got horny as hell? i always thought alcohol was a libido suppressant? non the less, u learn something new every day ;)

And mind fuck games... ppl who play them.... u guys should go burn and i hope u drown in your own karmatic downfall..... come on, lifes too short to be playing mind fuck games...

Nyway, peace be with u all... my post for this week ;)

It's to a nice change to hear that someone is also sick of the superficial role models sold by society.

If you are someone who is interested, it's also and interesting thought to think about society's emotional existence.

REALITY TV.. I personally hate it. I don't like Oprah, i don't like talk shows in general unless it's comedy.

It's like the media began using things such as fear, humiliation, pity, compassion, love, hatred, etc. ALL those things a shrink would love to charge you $350 an hour to tell you. Instead the enterntainment corporations have manipulated it into a money making frenzy.

When it comes to understanding how society feels or how people feel, I learnt from living overseas, poeple are the most fancinating creatures in the world. The only probem is everyone is clueless about everyone. not many people know who they really are. They may know what they are now and how they feel about certain things.

The people portrayed in the OC or celebs like Paris Hilton... i don't wanna know what they have achieved to pick for the next photo shoot. I wanna know what their views are on poverty, poltiics, or even what they think about the future... It's difficult to see ppl sad... it's difficult to see how people are so narrow minded.

One thing you can ask yourself just out of curiousity is Can you think outside the box about many things?

For Exmaple, I have a Gucci bag. I bought it with my hard earnt money and i'm proud of myself. WHY do i buy a $1000 bag? first thing in my mind would be i bought it cos its quality or its in or it's pretty etc. But when i think about it outside the box, I think "I might have bought it for attention. I bought it cos I want people to know that when u look at me with this bag it means i know what quality means and i have taste"

You learn after a certain age... you want to know why you do certain things. You wanna know wat makes you happy. It's a prvilege to be able to ask questions that defy your own perceptions of things. IT makes you grow and understand...

Satisfaction is being happy with something whether it happened or you make it happen. Contentment is something you are satisfied with. It would not be the same if you were content without being satified first because to be satisfied, it leads to contentment

hahahah thanks for the indepth post into what i would call my 'sub par' post.... its funny i had no idea what to post that weekend, just pulled something out of my a$$.

Funny thing is tho, even tho i may had the media we follow, i dig the music... the OC mixes are great compilations....

I totally agree on the reality tv thing, why watch tv and play computer games, watching an emulation of life, than live your own?

Its quite bizarre how so many ppl r getting sucked into voyeurism... this generation is the generation of voyeurism... the scary thing is, i think in the next 1000 years or so, we will eventually have no role models, no guides, nothing but watch constant repeats... as everyone is too busy to live a life, and are all vegetating into our ultimate final form of evolution....

Jello....

;)

Thanks for the post once again.

Oh an Jane, your post was good too ;) *clap* *clap* for the handicaaaappp! hahahah jkjk
